Catalog on Bitrix with filters, but without a basket, how?
Greetings!
I'm getting acquainted with Bitrix while I "poke" the demo and read the docks, although not all the logic is clear.
The task is this: to create a product catalog with characteristics, filters (apparently, the "smart filter" module), product comparison. But this is a catalog, not an IM, the ability to buy something is not needed.
Actually, it needs to be implemented on the basis of the "shop" module or ordinary infoblocks for content?

First of all, a piece of advice: do not poke, but read the documentation normally and this question would disappear :)
As for your question: the modules "Online store" and "Shopping catalog" add the ability to work with ordering, pricing, discounts, etc.
If you do not need to place an order and the site is used solely as a showcase without the possibility of an actual purchase (with subsequent payment), then the cheapest edition will do.
Architecturally, the product catalog is an extension for infoblocks :)
