Cartography with a quadcopter?
There is a DJL PHANTOM 4 quadcopter and a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet. Tell me, what are the Android programs or on a regular Windows PC for mapping the area using a quadrocopter.
I found Pix4d but the license costs 8700 bucks, too expensive, although the result is excellent. There are some analogues for cheaper, you can also draw up 2D maps i.e. just a top view, no volume. In fact, the program should set the Phantom shooting points from above and then glue them together and that's it.
The program is desirable without a monthly payment in order to buy and that it was already in the possession of the company :)
I would be very grateful for any information! :)

In general, task preparation and photogrammetric processing itself are different tasks.
You can create a flight task in DroneDeploy on a free plan.
And to do photogrammetric processing (this is not called compiling maps of the area in any case - you are working with a photographic, not a conditional image of the area) can be done in a lot of places. You didn't say what "cheaper" means to you, so I can offer you Agisoft PhotoScan Professional for $3500, which is almost half the price of Pix4D. Or free (with all the consequences) OpenDroneMap . For the latter, I can recommend the blog https://smathermather.wordpress.com/ . You can also check out this Youtube channelhttps://www.youtube.com/user/dennisbaldwin/videos - the author, in my opinion, has tried everything possible.
