Can you trust the ESP-8266 Adapter Plate?
Good day! I ordered a pair of ESP-8266 07 boards from Aliexpress along with an Adapter Plate:

Reverse side:
Recommended ESP-8266 connection diagram.
GPIO15 and CH_PD are pulled to ground and vcc respectively, which seems to be true.
A central SMD resistor (10kΩ) connects the input and output of the stabilizer (on the reverse side), which is strange. It also seems that the regulator has in and out mixed up: the center pin is connected to the input VCC.
Has anyone had experience using it? This fee is questionable.

That's right, the tracks are mixed up, for correct operation it is necessary:
1. unsolder the jumper resistor (in the first image it is in the middle)
2. swap pins 2 and 3 from the stabilizer, or cut the tracks and solder new ones.

The answer to the question: Can the ESP-8266 Adapter Plate be trusted? - can. And it's in your "Back Side" picture, where you can see when you zoom in that it's using a low power HT7333 linear regulator. Description link: catalog.gaw.ru/index.php?page=component_detail&id=...
