Can you track the northern lights?

Hey!
We often have northern lights in the north, so I decided to track them somehow. For example, we create a bot for telegrams and when the day with the highest activity of the solar wind approaches, it notifies. This is just an example as an option.
Or is there some other way to track it? For example, collecting data from stations?

IMHO, the problem is - where do you actually take the original data.
After you have received this data, notifying those interested through the Telegram bot will already be a trifling matter.
