Is it possible to understand whether a person is running or riding a bicycle using a mobile application?

A set of measurements from sensors will help to collect information.
Neural network - to recognize: where is the bike, and where is the run.
Accelerometer - should work: running has a more sawtooth acceleration curve than cycling.
