I have noticed for a long time that my computer makes a strange noise... It's like a hundred small bells are making noise. What is important, they make noise only when the CPU is under load (QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450, 2666 MHz (8 x 333)).

Try to localize the source of the squeak. Poorly wound chokes can be both on the motherboard and in the PSU. They say nail polish can help with this .

90% are pickups on the audio path, the sound is emitted by the speakers.
Try to insert the headphones, if the sound disappears (and in the headphones, especially at full volume) appears - this is it.
