Can vue.js close the whole issue with frontend?

I came across a series of articles SPA vue.js + django , building a simple SPA with a backend in the form of Django + Rest API.
Actually, such a question arose, is it possible to throw the entire backend into the API, and implement the entire frontend using vue.js? How good is this approach for project development? What can be pitfalls?
