Can Unity accept variables and arrays (a bunch) from a php script, or just plain text?

I just started to deal with the WWW class, it turns out to accept text. It turns out that to get each variable, I need to do a separate operation, or I can send a bunch through the form at once and also get everything in a bunch, but in what form should I take it, just a large piece of text and then doodle in it?
