Can there be one node as a backup in Elastic?

Is it possible to make 1 replica from each index of other nodes for one separate node in Elastic?
The point is that the loss of any one node would not be critical, provided that this backup node is available.

Elasticsearch itself rebalances shards when nodes are lost, and your approach is pure single point of failure.
