Task: to organize a cloud on which the firmware will lie. ESP8266 must connect to the server and check the firmware version, if there is an update - ESP downloads the firmware and flashes it.
On the Internet, I saw examples where ESP was flashed using OTA, but a local server was used there. And my server is located on a completely different network and you can connect to it through a domain.
Question: Has anyone encountered similar problems? Realizable?
