I will add Stalker_RED, since they called me - As well as the correctness of the password, login, host and the fact that you have a database running at all. Another config for the opencart showcase itself is at the root, and for the admin panel it is duplicated in the admin folder. if only the config in the root is corrected, the showcase will work, but the admin panel will not.
