Can't expand volume on MacOs, what could be the problem?
I work for mac relatively recently and ran into a problem.
The fact is that I bought a mac in a used state, it already had windows installed on it, like the second OS installed via boot camp.
In general, I unknowingly simply deleted the windows volume in disk utility, and now I can’t expand another volume on which I have macOs itself or create a new one.
The total HDD capacity is 1 TB, about 500 GB is used on the volume on which macOS is installed, the remaining 500 GB are simply available.
If you just expand the space of the volume on which the macos stands, then everything seems to be successful, but in fact there are no changes.
If you create another volume in which you would like to use all the space that is not used, an error occurs:
I just need to use all the HDD space somehow. And I’ll say right away that if there was info on this in Google, I wouldn’t leave the question here. Thanks in advance.
