Can't decide on the configuration of the MacBook pro 13 2018?
Good day.
I'm going to take a MacBook pro 13 2018 but I can't determine the configuration.
There are 2 price ranges that I can't decide between.
The differences are in the amount of RAM and SSD
Option 1: 8 GB RAM + 512 GB SSD
Option 2: 16 GB RAM +
256
GB
SSD in general, what would the functionality in the IT topic be enough for the first time (~ 3 years)
After reading about whether 8 GB of RAM is enough, it is not clear who has enough, who does not. But everyone advises to take more SSD volume.
From here, I have an unambiguous opinion. In fact, the problem with the volume of SSD can be solved with external drives, which cannot be said about the amount of RAM.

Good afternoon. Do not forget that you are buying a working tool. And you have it for at least a couple of years. I'm currently working on a 2014 macbook 15 512/16 . and still he suits me in work, including in video editing.
So my advice is to aim for 15 inch Macs. They are not much larger, but much more convenient in terms of work.
RAM or disk?
I'll choose an operator. 16 GB in our world is now a must have for office computers.
Specifically, in poppies, the disk can be expanded through icloud. 2tb cost 600 rubles per month. If you share for a family, then there will be enough space for everyone. And archives to merge on screws external.
Option 2: 16GB RAM + 256GB SSD
it's quite simple - RAM 16 and ssd 256 since you can buy an external ssd
in the office minik of the 14th year, 8gb / 128 - enough for reactive and web. MBP took the 17th year 8/256, I hope that it will also be enough. In general, I have not yet consumed 20GB on the Ubuntu Acer, even downloading movies into the RAM :D
