Can sd=2 if sample size is 25?

Could this be possible in theory?

If the variance is equal to sd²=4

After all, the variance is somehow approaching the range, because the number of elements in the sample,

i.e. in my opinion, the variance should be close to the sample size, and here there is a big difference between 4 and 25

Lord, again dispersion, again scope. Are you following this thread
How does variance compare to sd?
at least one textbook opened?
Who, where, when told you that "dispersion is approaching the range"???? And even more so that "the variance should be close to the sample size"???? If you have a set of 10,000,000 elements, then the variance will also "approach"???? Yes, at least look at the dispersion formula for interest. There's the sample size in the DENOMINATOR!!! Think about what that means in the end.
PS However, I thought, we should find out what class you are in. Maybe I want too much from you?
