Can Redis be used as user notifications?
It just so happened that quite recently to learn about the existence of redis, and the idea came up that it would be possible to effectively use it to store user notifications. For example (notifications about the reply to a comment).
Since I only know about what redis is in theory, I decided to ask experienced users if it makes sense to use it for such tasks and how effective it is? Will I be able to sort notifications by date in redis, determine read and new, and store for example only 20 latest notifications for each user?
