Can mongodb run on ASP.NET+MSSQL hosting?

Guys, explain to a newbie, on a hosting for ASP.NET with MS SQL database support, it will be possible to work with MongoDB or another database, or not? Or is it possible to organize work with ASP.NET and MongoDB only on a virtual server?

It's just that the size of the database is small on inexpensive hosting, but are there free storages for MongoDB?

And a passing question, besides MSSQL on hosting, does anyone use another database?
