I want to know about overclocking the I7-3770K on a GIGABYTE B75 motherboard . I think to buy this processor and I want to know about the multiplier ? Is it possible to increase it in the BIOS ? I now have a processor with a locked multiplier and I cannot increase the frequency in the BIOS, although there is such a setting in the BIOS .

You can overclock processors with index "K" only on chipsets with index "Z" (for Intel chipsets).
