Can I use openvpn (tunnelblick) to connect to a pptp vpn server?

The task is to connect on mac os to a pptp vpn server. Is it possible to do this through tunnelblick and how to make a configuration file for it? There are examples on the network, but I can’t find clear instructions for compiling it (I’m not an admin, I don’t understand network subtleties well)

No. Tunnelblick is a client for one particular kind of VPN - OpenVPN.
Since pptp support has been disabled in modern macos, below are instructions on how to set up a connection:
