Can I use IPv6 instead of cookies?

Maybe I don't understand correctly, but it seems that one host can have many IP addresses. The question is, do all hosts on the network now have an IPv6 address, and can it be used to identify hosts? Well, don't bother with cookies. And just check whether the user was previously on the site or not.

The fact that IPv6 has billions of addresses does not mean that one user will have only one address or even a prefix .
The mechanism for distributing addresses in IPv6 is many times more complicated and voluminous than in IPv4 . At the moment, it is recommended for one user to allocate /64 prefix, and this is neither more nor less - about 300 million addresses, which, to put it mildly, nullifies your idea.
