Can I take this assembly to learn MODX?

Started slowly learning MODX. Before that I used pop CMS like WP/Joom!
Came across assembly. As I understand it, the author was very confused there, he tried to introduce some kind of philosophy that I did not understand. However, there is just a mountain of examples!
Please tell me how adequately it is done, is it possible to take it as an example or is it better to do everything in the classical way?

You can, I'm the author of this assembly. Actually, I did it for beginners, although there were other ideas. And about the fact that he was very confused, do not worry. Do you need to see an example? There are a lot of examples, pdoTools, Tickets, authorization, conditions.
And about the fact that there, something unprofessionally done, I did not see any arguments from the answers. There will be questions, knock on Skype, I will help if I am free.

This is a build of MODX Revo. He worked very little. I personally use an unofficial build of MODX Evo. There were no complaints. Quite the contrary: an active society and regular build updates are an indisputable plus.

I would not trust such "assemblies", which have an office. the site is tasteless and unprofessional.
If you want to deal with CMS, then it's better to take a bare CMS and gut its code yourself.
The assembly itself may contain problems / bugs / shortcomings, due to which you will puzzle over "why it doesn't work" for a long time.

If you are just learning MODX, then especially do not use assemblies. Better take a clean CMS and see what and how.
