Good afternoon, I'm interested in the question: is it possible to send SMS from the number 8-800 connected to the company? If this is possible, what conditions must be met for this and what can be read in order to better understand this issue? We plan to send SMS via API.

Technically yes, actually check with the provider whose API you will be using.

The SMS sending service itself is available only in the mobile network with DEF numbering (+79...).
But mobile operators offer a number substitution service for SMS mailings. From here we see SMS from the number "900" (Sberbank), from the sender "RGS" (Rosgosstrakh), etc. Technically, substituting the sender "8-800 ..." is not difficult. The question is - does this contradict any internal policies of the operator.
In general, contact the B2B departments of operators.
