Can I redirect traffic to my site from a different domain?

There is an unused domain, which receives about 100 uniques per day. I want to redirect this traffic to my site. How will this affect your search engine rankings? Is it worth it or not?

If all 100 uniques you have come to the main (and only) page of an unused domain, then you can register a 301 redirect of any requests to the main page of your "used" site. You will transfer the traffic, but after some time the unused domain will stick to the "used" one as an additional mirror. If you do not need an unused domain separately, then this is the most correct option.
But if 100 uniques diverge on different pages, then you can not glue domains and at the same time transfer part of the traffic. To do this, write 301 redirects for the most visited pages of the "unused" domain with a redirect to pages of the "used" site that are suitable in meaning / theme. And do not redirect the main page of the "unused" domain.
You can also use a 302 redirect to prevent domains from sticking together. But this is risky because you can get sanctioned for 302 hijack exploit.
Also keep in mind that if an unused domain catches traffic on one topic (for example, medical), and the "used" site is completely about something else (for example, about finance), then all 100 transferred uniques will only spoil your behavioral factors, because they will immediately close your site that is irrelevant to their interests.

See how to redirect. If a redirect (via meta tags or httpacess) then the domains can be glued together.

But if you use any click under or some other JS script, then negative consequences can be avoided.
