Can I make a remote client via wifi?

Hello
Tell me, I want to put the system unit in a closet in another room so that there is complete silence and does not take up much space.
Prompt the best decision not expensive and steady.
So far I see 3 options:
1. Zero client, but they are expensive from 30k
2. Mini computer on arduino + RDP program
3. Something like KVM for servers, but something tells me that this is a zero client
Well, the question is that all this over WiFi does not lag, do you need to do them point-to-point or can you run it in a common network pool?

Your client will run smoothly until you launch a game or video in Full HD.
Full HD will not fit into any wi-fi.

Stretch a very high quality HDMI cable. Well, to the heap USB extension hub for peripherals. Somewhere 12 meters will still be fine, and then it can be anything, such as blurring the picture.
