Can I extract data from a stolen phone?
An elementary question, but there is no answer in Google.
The phone was stolen. Samsung. I don't remember the exact model. It was blocked by fingerprint and pattern.
Actually the question is - what information can the person who stole the phone get? A photo? Contacts? Passwords?
Is the data encrypted? It seems that a lot of data is stored on the sd card - what to do with it?
Do you need to panic or can you be calm?

The data on the SD card can be read, but it is trite to insert the card into another phone.
The data from the phone, most likely, will not be pulled out, for this it will be necessary to tinker, so most likely they will simply reset with cleaning. But, if you have serious confidential data there, then it’s better to proceed from the fact that they will be taken away: they will see personal photos, they will go to social networks and instant messengers, they will receive access to Internet banking. And act accordingly: change passwords, block cards, etc.
