There are services " hot-wifi.ru " and many similar ones. So for me the question arose of whether it is possible to use ordinary routers for such purposes? I'm going to use ordinary routers in the city taxis. Buying Mikrotik with a scroll is expensive. Who knows the solution to the problem? Thank you!

You can use any router at all. Set up your DNS server and give it away when issuing an IP address by WiFi clients. For requests for popular scripts from sites (Yandex.Metrika, Google Analytics, etc.), submit your own code that will embed any advertisement on the site.
