Can a virtual machine act as a gaming PC?
There is a gaming PC on i7 with 16GB of RAM and a video gtx 1060. Hypothetically, through esxi, if you raise virtualization by allocating, say, 3 cores for a working computer - games, video processing, vector graphics, and one core for virtual machines - application test + local hosting of a local site, then how usable will it be? (Of course, it is clear that there will be performance losses compared to working directly, but if the losses are small, then why not) Or maybe there are other solutions?

Maybe, but it's not very convenient.
My keyboard sometimes fell off, the sound was heated, sometimes the virtual machine itself could stand up as a stake.
In general, I personally decided that combining a server and a gaming computer is not the best idea.
Although perhaps these are the features of my iron and my hands
This solution is quite normal (the losses will not be too great)!
Good luck!
