Can a subdomain have a www prefix and how to redirect it to without www?

can there actually be such a construction
www.moscow.site.ru ?
I always get this when I click on a similar link - DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

and how to redirect it to without
www.moscow.site.ru -> moscow.site.ru using htacess, I tried the first one with Google, it didn’t help.

www.site.ru is just a 3rd-level domain, no more, no less, it is generally a different domain, though issued by your domain, it is the same as
ya.site.ru www was once created so that you understand that this is a world wide web then this link is open in the browser (you know, the Internet existed before the browser)
now it’s already clear, so you don’t need it,
so in fact the thing is outdated like a mammoth, but anyway, when you create a domain,
you usually create it right away 3rd level subdomain for the site and redirect it to the main site.
So, if you don't have a subdomain created, then the redirect will not help you
because DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
In general
, 1. go to the DNS zone editor
2. create or delegate it to the IP you need (the same as the main domain)
3. Make sure that an alias for the www domain is added to the web panel on the hosting.
4. wait for the domain to open by IP, and you will be happy,
do not forget that this is a regular domain and it can be delegated anywhere and any way, you can place a separate site on it (but they just don’t do this)
