C# for remote work?

Good afternoon.
I want to switch from office to remote work. Not now, but in the near future. At the same time, I recently started learning C # and it seems to be working out.
I used to be convinced that enterprise-oriented platforms (C# and Java among them) did not involve remote work. Only in the office. But recently, several people told me directly that there is a remote for net / java.
I am not a strong specialist in this market. I looked at vacancies on upwork and on our exchanges. Everything is generally deplorable here: C# is usually an operator for writing queries in mssql. And there are no more vacancies. There were vacancies on the upwork, but they are few. I can't figure out what state this market is in?
I would like to switch to remote work, preferably to a European or American company. At the same time, I don’t want to continue writing a site in php. And even more so, I don’t want to fight with the Indians for a piece of anger on freelance.
Tell me, are there any vacancies of this kind and how great is the need for such specialists?

Usually in C#, this is exactly remote work, not freelance. Those. you find a regular customer and write a big project for a monthly salary.
But in order to find such a place will have to work hard. You need to have at least a portfolio and work experience.
One of the popular ways is to get a job in an outsourcing office, where you gain experience. Many simply work with some of the office's clients and that's all.
By the way, for a C# programmer, stackoverflow and github accounts (with corresponding useful actions) will be a plus

the whole market is in an equally bad state, there are no programmers for the life of me, even for Java, look at least for si sharp, otherwise the shit that is so bad that it’s easier to throw yourself out the window.
I have never met an unemployed programmer.
