c# developer portfolio

Good afternoon. I have been working as a c# developer for quite some time and recently I asked myself the question "is portfolio creation practiced in the ranks of system and backend programmers?" Are there any good practices for this? For example, put a collection of projects on github... I'm asking because at some point it seemed to me that the description of the projects in which I participated was not enough.

I don't know about the portfolio, but you could start your own blog/website where you would post what you did on Sea Sharp. It does not take much time if you choose a good platform - Blogger, Wordpress.
From my personal experience, it makes a very good impression on interviews, plus you can also earn some extra money on advertising from the blog.
Here is an example of my blog: CodeArsenal.net
Good luck!

A competent description of the projects on which he worked and what he achieved is a weighty plus.
In addition, you simplify the search for employers, save yourself from interviews with a topic who is not interested in your experience.

A portfolio doesn't hurt either way. If I were you, I would make the most complete descriptions of projects, I think the time spent on this will more than pay off later.
