C++ and engineering thinking?
Hello everyone, the question is how to learn C ++ to develop engineering and algorithmic thinking? Any books on CS, or courses that are fundamental?
Now I work as a junior on the Js/Html/Css/React stack, I mean, the question is not about how to learn the pros and get into an office somewhere, I just want to do something else in parallel to improve my skills and qualifications, I looked at the internships of many top companies require Java/Python/C++ to interview, python is out because it makes sense to learn another scripting language?
Java is more about employment for me, so the choice fell on the pros,
I really like Js, but you won’t really get into CS with it, I’m interested in training materials where they will show on the pluses how to work with memory, databases, networks, at least at a basic level)))
It’s clear that many will fly in -
You at least master Js normally

1. Engineering thinking? is there such a thing? Thinking is either there or not - it seems to me so, but what a different matter it is)))
2. Just like we solved problems at school:
a) A train left point A for point B ...
b) Solve a system of nonlinear equations using the method. ..
From the beginning it's hard, and then we click like nuts)))
Practice. Engineering and algorithmic thinking, if any, is developed by practical experience. Rewrite the same Java/Python/C++ task. Here's a practice for you " without being tied to async in a node or browser ".
