By what means\commands\hacks can you make Minecraft always work on a discreet?

We are developing a launcher for Minecraft and faced a problem on laptops with built-in and discrete video cards: mine only works on the built-in one. Forcing the user to use force in the Nvidia settings for the java.exe process to nail the discrete is somehow not serious - hamsters are lazy.
We write the launcher in Delphi, but to launch we use the same thing that we would write in a bat file.
In light of this, there is a question, by what means \ commands \ hacks can you make the lane always work on a discrete?
PS. We are testing on a laptop with Intel HD4000 and GeForce GTX660M running Windows 8.1. Compatibility needs to be organized before XP.
