Built-in screenshot feature of Kali Linux not working?

I installed it on a Kali laptop with XFCE (changed it to Cinnamon). There is a need to take a fairly large number of screenshots. The built-in combinations (shift+print, ctrl+shift+print, print) used to work fine, but at some point they just stopped responding. I sinned on the keyboard (a key broke or a clumsy layout). I changed the combination to precisely working keys - 0 reactions. Apparently the scripts themselves have come up, and I have no idea where to lie. Can you help a Linux layman?

When I see the Kali tag and a question like "It doesn't work...", "It doesn't work...", "Stopped..." etc - I always have one question - why do you need Kali, dude? Why not bubunta, not mint, not debian? Not centos, not zyuzya? Not genta/slack/LFS, if you really want a popazza?
Kali is not designed for beginners from the word at all. Put it - know how to figure it out yourself, if you don't know how to do it yourself - don't put it.
