Broadcasting information, a turnkey solution?

The question is from a friend, therefore, unfortunately, without specific details, but if they are required for an answer, I will try to find out.

General description of the problem: There is a server that generates some information (the type and amount of information is unknown). The generation of information is uneven in time and volume, i.e. can be both "dense" and "empty". There are many clients that should receive this information, but not all clients can be connected at the time of generating information, but all clients should receive it, while it is desirable that currently connected clients receive information immediately.

The task, in theory, comes down to using some kind of middleware that will receive information from the server, store it with itself and distribute it to clients, taking into account what information each of the clients has already received.

The protocol by which the server and client will communicate with this middleware is not particularly important. neither the server nor the clients exist yet, the project is in the planning stage.

Actually the question is: does anyone know a finished product that solves the problem described above?
