Branches of Cloud Computing?

Hello,
Since I am a master's student (studying in Lithuania), I am thinking about my thesis. The topic of clouds is very interesting, but also huge. I'm having trouble choosing a direction. Anyone willing to share some advice? All possible options are interesting :)

I would imagine myself as a cloud provider offering services: SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Xaas ..
using VMware vRealize Automation (this CMP (cloud management platform) is the closest).
