Bloom not working on one layer?

Good afternoon. I want to use the Bloom effect on a separate layer to create the effect of burning car headlights, but when I select the Post Processing layer in the Post Processing Layers settings, nothing happens. The headlights are a separate child object of the car. Material with the included emission is hung on the headlights. When I set the everything layer in the post processing settings, the effect works.

@HellFingers

I found the answer, you need to attach the post processing volume to the object for which some effect should work. And specify already a separate layer for him
