BitrixVM. After adding a user to the bitrix. There are no rights to /home/bitrix/www. How to fix?

Good afternoon!
I want to give the system user rights to the /home/bitrix/www directory through the bitrix group.
Added him to this group.
But when I try to get to /home/bitrix/www I get Permission denied.
What could be the problem?

I usually create a user with UID & GID like Bitrix:

adduser -d /home/bitrix -g 600 -M -N -o -u 600 USERNAME
