Bitbucket complains about the size of the mercurial turnip. Is it worth switching to GIT?
Bitbucket began to swear at the fact that the size of the repository will soon be 2GB. BB makes rep read only for reps that exceed this limit.
The project is very old, with a huge bunch of commits. What could be the reason for this limitation? There is an option to switch to GIT + LFS, but this is a last resort. Since retraining a bunch of staff is quite expensive.
Converting like hg lfconvert does not provide significant space savings. Maybe it makes sense to raise your BitBucket Server?
