Benchmark Valley won't start, what should I do?

As I understand it, this module is not supported in Mesa or is it still there? If yes, how to enable it.

When switching eselect opengl from xorg_x11 to nvidia and trying to start Valley gives the following:
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 154 (NV-GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 4 ()
Resource id in failed request: 0x3a00002
Serial number of failed request: 55
Current serial number in output stream: 55
Added nvidia driver to xorg.conf.d and rebooted xes.
Everything worked.
