Behavioral factors: which is more important, clicks or time on the site?
There is a task: to place information for clients on the website.
The output of information depends on what equipment and software the client uses, something like a calculator.
Various combinations of software and hardware are possible: about 10.
Solutions:
1) Interactive page. The user chooses what equipment and software he uses, we display the relevant information. Everything is placed on 1-1.5 screens.
Pros: convenient for the client, the user performs actions on the site (clicks)
Cons: The information fits in 10 lines, the user will receive it quickly and leave the site, will not scroll.
2) Plain text, in which information is presented separately for each type of equipment.
Pros: Lots of text, scrolling.
Cons: a lot of "water" for the user
What would you choose, taking into account the fact that all this should be allowed for promotion + context.
