Barter on Habré?
The Habr community brings together various people from a wide variety of fields (as practice shows, not only IT), which creates the prerequisite for a "natural exchange" of professional services. The question, in fact, is whether there is a practice of barter relations on Habré?

Mankind invented money a long time ago to stop barter, when a person could get 100 pots or 10 barrels for a cow, and then think where to wave them.
Most of the services are not equivalent and it will be unprofitable for both parties to change one for another. The first one can make a big mistake, the second one will be afraid for the quality, because. too cheap.
Now to transfer money through an electronic system, this is a minimum cost (maximum 1%), but at the same time a person will receive for his services exactly as much as he asks / deserves and not an ephemeral barter that may not yet be fulfilled.
In addition, Habré is full of people who are ready to spend part of their time helping absolutely disinterestedly, and I think that the offer of payment in such cases will be perceived ambiguously.
PS
All of the above is my IMHO.
I did not notice on Habré and I'm interested in the same question.
I even asked a question about this topic. Surprisingly, only "Social media post exchanges" came up for "barter".
For now, I'm thinking of using any freelance site with a clear description of the project/task.
jursovet , if I find something suitable, I'll throw it off.
korvindest , yes, money is convenient. But here's the problem, I can't afford to hire a designer for XXXX rubles per layout. But I can do something technical for him for the same amount. Those. barter works when two do not have extra money, but there is a desire and an opportunity.
