Hello ! A friend bought a Z-3151HS
barcode scanner in order to read IMEI codes from phones (it sells cell phones, the database is in EXCEL ). Question: Is there software ( except 1C ) to connect and run a barcode scanner on a PC with reading?

If the scanner is USB, then there are several options for working - USB VCOM and USB HID
in USB HID (default) mode - it works like a keyboard - and does not require special software.
reads the code and drives it from the keyboard - you can even use it in a notepad, even in excel.
