Background music and video in a presentation?

Hello!
The presentation has 75 slides.
In the first slide I put a sound file that goes to the whole presentation.
Some slides have video embeds with sound.
It is necessary that the background sound is interrupted during these video inserts, and after them it resumes again.
How can I do that?
At the moment, I did this: I made background sound up to the video slide, then on the next slide after the video, I inserted background sound again, and so on. But it is so hard.
