BaaS - is it worth using?

Should you use BaaS (backend-as-a-service) as the backend for a mobile app if the number of app users is expected to grow over time? Please tell us about your own experience?
Many of these services offer a free account with conditions like:
- up to 20 API requests per second
- 10 GB of cloud storage
- server code processing time - 3 seconds.
Please explain in simple terms how many users can be online at the same time in the application under such conditions (for example, if it is an online game like tic-tac-toe, where opponents are randomly selected from a list of all online players)?
