AWS: How to reduce the size of EBS with the system installed?
A Debian instance is now running (4 GB in size).
I would like to install Windows Server 2008 R2 from the free AMI and still meet the 30 GB-month free limit.
The problem is that all Windows images are 30GB in size.
In Windows, of course, you can reduce the size of the partition on the virtual disk, but volume, i.e. analogue of a physical disk in AWS will remain the same size, and the fee will be charged accordingly.
It is very easy to increase the volume size through the web interface, but I have not found a way to reduce it.
Thank you in advance.
