Automating the creation of subdomains with the installation of CMS on them?

There is a domain.tld, VDS with nginx+MySQL+PHP

There was a need to automate the process of creating subdomains with installing WordPress on them in the form of the following scheme:

Указание в веб-форме имени поддомена -> Создание sub.domain.tld -> Перенаправление на  страницу установки WordPress sub.domain.tld/wordpress/install.php

The choice of Wordpress does not matter for this case (it can be any other CMS). The pre-installed LAMP does not matter either (if necessary, any other software will be installed and configured).

I'm wondering how to practically implement such a scenario: auto-create subdomains and provide access to the installation page.

What tools can be used here? (I do not know in what direction to dig).
Or what would you suggest looking for on this topic?
