Autocomplete stops working in VS Code. Has anyone come across?

Guys, hi.
From time to time, autocomplete in VSCode stops working. Just on level ground.
At the same time, some brakes may be observed when saving files - it does this instead of a split second for several seconds. Restarting the app helps.
Has anyone come across? I can’t find the reason for this, so I don’t even know where to look for the problem.
