Autocad does not need more than 8G. Even with a bunch of blueprints, he no longer uses it. Although the system certainly needs at least 8 more for the cache. But it's probably not a matter of RAM. Something in the drawings themselves slows down. The classic case is drawings with external links pointing nowhere to non-existent network folders. Or long edited drawings with a record of the "history" of solids. Remove garbage from dwg - and it will open quickly (well, as far as the word "fast" is applicable to AutoCAD).
Try disabling plugins. Especially glucosborniki type SPDS.
