atom-beautify doesn't format svg according to .editorconfig file, what's the problem?

How to explicitly specify .editorconfig for this plugin, although this file is present in the project root? During the npm test, the linters complain about indentation in SVG files, I decided to format it using the atom-beautify plugin, but it didn’t help, I had to do it manually. But in the future I would not like to solve it in such a tedious way. Has anyone encountered this problem before?
