At what stage is it better to localize an application?
Hello, the essence of the question is as follows, I am a beginner android developer, there is an application that is almost ready for publication (it is completely in Russian). And so I thought: should I publish it as it is, eventually adding an English version, or wait from publication until everything is translated into English? Which of the two options will have a better effect on the popularity / payback of the application? Or is there no difference and adding various localizations can be done after publication and this is absolutely not critical? Thanks in advance.

First, bring the version in your native language to a normal state, and then start localization. Pluses in this approach are also those that volunteers can be found to help in localization.
If you correctly implement the application, then adding a new localization should not create problems.
You just need to put all the string values \u200b\u200bthat you are going to translate into different languages \u200b\u200binto a string resource file, if you need to translate into any language, you just need to copy-paste the file and translate all the strings into the desired language.
If you have released an application and soon want to add a language, it will not be difficult for you to do this.
As for the correctness, at what point to do localization, I can’t say, I think that it all depends on the opinion of the developer or customer.
If you don’t really want to bother with localization, you can use plugins for this, I don’t remember exactly what it’s called.
На популярность конечно это повлияет, надо сделать хотя бы Английский. Это очень сильно влияет на охват публики.
