Async VK not working in EDGE browser, how to solve the problem?

I wanted to make asynchronous code for VK widgets, I registered

<script type="text/javascript" src="//vk.com/js/api/openapi.js?162" async></script>

, everything worked out but Microsoft Edge does not load widgets. As soon as I remove async and everything works. In other browsers everything works fine.
Tell me how to solve the problem?
